Camera and practice recordsVideo stays in your browser. Coordinates and practice records reach the server.
Camera and practice records
Camera video is processed in your browser. Camera frames are not uploaded by the guided-practice feature. Derived coordinates and session records reach the server; local processing does not mean that all practice data stays on your device.
Account and local dataAccount and signed-in Learn records sync to the server; theme and browser calibration profiles stay on this device.
Account and local data
Your account stores identity information and saved practice records. Passwords are hashed. When signed in, Learn progress, saved chapters, reading position, and Learn filters are synchronized with your account. This browser also keeps an account-separated copy and pending changes so you can continue offline; synchronization needs a connection. Theme preferences and browser calibration profiles remain on this device.
Optional assistant and sharingAssistant questions may reach a model provider. Share links give access to a redacted record.
Optional assistant and sharing
The assistant may send your question and retrieved library material to a configured model provider. Avoid entering sensitive personal details. A shared-session link grants access to the redacted record it identifies; share it only with someone you intend to give access to. The structured companion introductions do not call a model provider.
Optional companion notesExport depends on your plan. Deletion, browser data and backups have separate limits.
Optional companion notes
Experience notes, Analysis check-ins and usability counters are off by default. Analysis retains the selected hand, location responses and timestamp only when you opt into local retention and save. Signed-in notes are kept separately by account in this browser; guest notes last only for the current tab or app session. They are not synchronized or uploaded automatically. Analysis coach questions are held temporarily in memory and are not saved or sent to a model provider. Use Companion Controls to clear notes and check-ins or disable retention. A report export contains timestamps and experience choices; a usability export contains action names and timestamps. You choose whether to export and whom to give the copy to. Downloaded or shared copies cannot be revoked by the app. Optional read-aloud uses the device’s configured speech engine; its processing behavior depends on that engine.
Your controlsOperator contacts, providers and retention details must be supplied before commercial release.
Your controls
Use Profile to review available export and account-deletion controls. Export availability depends on your plan. Account deletion removes the active account data and revokes related shares; some payment records may remain pseudonymized for bookkeeping. Browser-local data and backup copies are separate and must be handled by the operator's deletion and retention procedures.
